My journey
My name is Valter Bäckström, and I grew up in southern Sweden. I am a trained sport fishing guide and a civil engineer. Ever since my father took me on a road trip to Lapland when I was 14, I have been captivated by the wild nature and pristine environment of northern Sweden. Every summer since then has been spent by the crystal-clear rivers and lakes of this region.
